How long does it take to infiltrate and then destroy a society?

Well, it depends.. but you would have to:

• turn the society into dependence
• make the society more and more vulnerable
• introduce your own people into power (low)
• split the society into groups
• you would need a ‘main event’ that hold people together…
• ..to destroy it and leave people lost.
• promote your own people (high)
• perversion of language.. so that no solution can be found.
• more sub-groups and a ‘blame game’.

Now you’re on a good start. But you are not there.
How long would this take?

We are talking life-spans times four or five.

UPDATE: what I’m saying is that even the starting; engaging part would take lifespans of four-five (generations 8-10). I know you can get some push.. and propell things a bit, if you create wars and/or big changes in society. But still: even getting started is several hundred years. And before that.. you’d have to organize in secret; find your people; have a way of communication. That doesn’t happend in an afternoon.

As I noticed.. the big push came around 1900… So the preparing time brings us back to 1400-1500. Unless it wasn’t the first time..
